Bangkok Ice Naka Hockey Championship 2023

(December 9-11, 2023)

We went to Bangkok for the 2023 Naka Tournament. The games were four-on-four. We brought U7 and U9 teams. There were some differences in how well the teams played, but overall, the tournament was what we hoped for. We had good, even matches. Each game got the players more involved in the tournament. Regular training and league games help us improve, but tournaments like this are really special for the kids. Even young, they understand the feel and importance of each game. Our U7 team came first in their division, and the U9 team came fourth. I think the U9 team could have won the whole thing, but that’s how sports go. Most importantly, our players came back from the tournament better than they left.
